FW: Filters; Extraction of content of fibers in a matrix with imageJ.

kalin
Hello!

I'm currently working at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. I use ImageJ to analyse pictures taken with a microscope.

I am new in ImageJ . I need to extract the content of fibers embedded in a matrix. Can somebody give an idea how to do it? From what my superior told me it has something to do with the application of morphological filters.

Thanks! With best regards,

Kalin

Yes, segment the fibres and analyse the binary image.
You see, such an vague answer can only generate vague replies.
Post an image somewhere so other people can see what the problem is.

Maybe, maybe not.
