File -> Import -> Image Sequence on Mac & Windows

Neil Fazel
I'm using File -> Import -> Image Sequence... to create a stack of PNG images. It works on Mac: I simply navigate to the directory containing the images and click on it. I get the "Sequence Options..." dialog, press OK and get a stack of all the images in the directory.

On Windows, I don't get the "Sequence Options..." dialog. Instead, when I click on the directory containing the images, it enters the directory and prompts me to select a single file. What am I missing?

Thanks,
Neil

You can get the same behavior on Windows as on the Mac by unchecking "Use file chooser to import sequences" in the Edit>Options>Input/Output dialog box.

Hi Wayne,

Thanks for the tip. It worked. BTW, is this documented in the user guide? It would be nice to have this mentioned somewhere.

Best regards,
Neil
