Hi ImageJ users
I am new to imagefiltering/procesessing and I have a question where I hope you have some good suggestions.
I am monitoring cracks developing in a material. I want to quantify the length of the cracks and number of cracks. In the album below you can see how the images of the cracks look like.
http://imgur.com/a/LeXXA#0There is 3 pictures, one picture of the material without cracks, one with cracks and one where I have made a simple image subtraction. Do you have any ideas how to filter the image so the cracks will appear more clear for manual counting or maybe so I can use edge detection?
