Fluorescein measurement in cornea

Hi,

I am new to this program but i seems very promising.

I'd like to quantify the amount of corneal damage of the eye by measuring the fluorescence of fluorescein dye under Cobalt blue light.

The images i've taken are from the eyes of rhodents, dyed with fluorescein.

In short i need to measure the amount of 'fluorescent green' pixles in the image.

I tried the 'color_counter_pixel' plugin but the program does'nt recognize the plugin.
I also tried  color histogram, color profiler and color counter but these programs does'nt seem to give the desired results.

If anybody could give me any tips about certain programs, fit for this task, i would be very pleased.
