Dear colleagues and especially Wayne and M. Schmid,
with version 1.51q the plot feature of ImageJ received further valuable improvements but also a change from font Helvetica to Arial. (Not a good choice from a typologic point of view but well explained here: <https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/notes.html>) On my computer Arial was disabled and when recently using the plot feature I received this error message: :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ImageJ 1.51q; Java 1.6.0_65 [64-bit]; Mac OS X 10.11.6; 8634K of 20000MB (<1%) java.lang.StackOverflowError at java.lang.ref.FinalReference.<init>(FinalReference.java:16) at java.lang.ref.Finalizer.<init>(Finalizer.java:66) at java.lang.ref.Finalizer.register(Finalizer.java:72) at java.lang.Object.<init>(Object.java:20) at java.awt.Font.<init>(Font.java:521) at ij.util.FontUtil.getFont(FontUtil.java:13) at ij.util.FontUtil.getFont(FontUtil.java:16) etc. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: No problem for me but could we please see a more friendly message telling users to install a suitable font? Thanks and best regards Herbie -- Sent from: http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/ -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
