For help on comparing cell position in 3D stacks

Hi,(dont know why it was not accepted, so posted it again)
i like to compare the position of scattered cells in many 3D/4D stacks (acquired at different timepoint). Should i make a 5D image make the two stacks different timepoint? How?  Or there is a better way out? Thanks.
