Fw: How to Adjust brightness and contrast of images

Hi Everyone,

         I am creating application for opening Dicom and JPEG images.
         
         I want to adjust brightness and contrast of JPEG images.
         I want the same working as imagej performs.

        i successfully open the JPEG images but while adjust brightness contrast
        it is not perfect like imagej.

       Please tell me how to set min and max for jpeg images.
      Or how can i use ContrastAdjuster.java with JPEG images as well as DICOM.
