Gel lanes not plotting?

Rodolfo Chaparro
Hi Everyone,

I am using the Mac version (1.46) for 1D gel densitometry.  Analyze>Gel>Plot Lanes produces empty plots!  That is, boxes corresponding to the designated lanes, but no traces within those boxes.  For seem reason, the Plot Lanes function generates traces when three or fewer lanes are designated, but I can't reproduce this consistently.  The problem started two weeks ago -prior to that it worked just fine.  Any help with resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rudy,

no such problem with ImageJ 1.46n22, Mac OS X 10.6.8, on an 8-bit image.  I could select 9 lanes and had nonzero plots for all. The 6 lanes of the 'gel' sample image also work well (also if I convert it to a 16-bit image).
