I've written a macro that generates a scaled grid of points within a
rectangular ROI (rotated if you like) and outputs a comma-separated list
for programming a UMIS nanoindentation run. The companion macro, Umis
Array (
http://doube.net/macros.html#umis), takes the CSV list and draws
the grid of points for measurement of backscatter coefficient in an SEM
micrograph made after the nanoindentation run has completed.
UmisArrayDesigner could be adapted fairly readily for any application
where you wanted to fill a box with dots!
