Make a smaller version by cropping or reducing resolution and upload it
somewhere. Not a real good reason to not give us more to go on.

I have inserted a picture, it had to be resized. What I am hopring to be able to do is to get the total percent coverage and also the coverage by each of the the main species (in this case tunicate and bryozoa ).

Good day abungay,

thanks for providing an interesting image!

Are you able to determine the percentage coverages by eye and hand?

If so, can you provide the corresponding segmented image?

If no, forget about the desired digital image analysis.

Best

I am able to do a rough percent coverage by eye, and for this particular photo it is 75-100% covered. But that is how far I go with doing it by eye.
