How to import .mpg file into imageJ?

huobo2008_gmail
I captured .mpg files via camera but I found it was not able to import them into imageJ although I installed QUICKTIME plugins. Would anyone tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot.  /Bob

Re: How to import .mpg file into imageJ?

Albert Cardona
prashant,

Just transcode them using VLC or better, Blender: http://www.blender.org
(use the video sequence editor.)

Otherwise, nothing stops you from writing a plugin that, via JNI, calls
the ffmpeg libraries and does the decoding. Be careful to make the
result runnable in all OSes ... it's not easy at all.
