IJ maven mirror seems to have corrupt .jars

Eric Barnhill
There is a segment of the IJ maven documentation stating:
--
Developers can benefit from the mirror by adding the following section to their $HOME/.m2/settings.xmlfile:
--
along with some example xml for settings.xml.

When I used this xml, my projects would no longer build because maven had an error opening the .jar . Which frequently indicates a corrupt .jar, maybe a broken download or some such.

When I removed the mirror and re-installed the IJ artefacts, the projects built fine.

I am behind a firewall and perhaps this is somehow messing with the mirror, but otherwise it may be a bug.

Hi Eric,

Could you link to this documentation? I thought it was on the Maven wiki
page[1] but can't find it.

Was there any indication of which .jar in particular was failing?
