Image Plates (Phosphor)

Does anyone on the list have any experience with Molecular Dynamics Phosphor
Plate Imagers? I am in the process of acquiring a used unit that may have
some software problems, and would like to talk with anyone who might have
any experience with these units. Please reply offline since this is not
really related to ImageJ. Thanks.
