I am working on the anlysis of images of porous media
(soil for example)... I am trying to do a similar work
than the following one:
"Pore space was quantified using a morphological
approach and 2D image analysis.Undisturbed soil
samples were impregnated with polyester resin
containing fluorescent pigment.The images were taken
under UV light, yielding a spatial resolution of 42 Am
pixelÀ 1. Pores wereclassified according to their size
(which is a function of their area) and their shape.
Hydraulicconductivity K(h) was measured using a disc
infiltrometer at four water potentials: À 0.05, À
0.2,À 0.6, and À 1.5 kPa."
