Image stabilizer plugin make jumping time lapses

Hello,

I have started using Image stabilizer plugin: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~kangli/code/Image_Stabilizer.html to correct drift on my time-lapse cell images. I have pretty big drift, and after correction with Image Stabilizer it gets much better, but the image tends to jump sometimes, when the drift is too big.
Do you have experience how could I set values of plugin to fix that jumps? Or any other way of dealing with that problem with software?
