ImageJ Plugin on Windows Vista

Soontharee Koompairojn
Dear All,

Previously, I installed and run TurboReg which is ImageJ plugin on Windows
XP before. It worked perfectly.

Last week, I formatted my PC and install Windows Vista. Then installed
ImageJ 1.41o with Java 1.6.0_13.

After that place TurboReg in the plugin directory.

When I compiled TurboReg, there's an error.  Here's an error message:

C:\Program Files\ImageJ\plugins\TurboReg_.java:118: error while writing
TurboReg_: C:\Program Files\ImageJ\plugins\TurboReg_.class (Access is
denied)
public class TurboReg_
       ^
1 error

I'm not sure if I do something wrong when installed the programs.

Could you please tell me  what causes my trouble and how to solve it?

I would feel grateful if you could help me.

Thank you in advances,

SK

Hi Soontharee,

make sure the ImageJ directory and its subdirectories are write-
enabled for the user(s) who want to compile plugins or update ImageJ
(right-click the folder as administrator, I guess that it is
somewhere in the "Properties" -  I don't have Vista, so I can't try it)
