Dear all,
We have a 'relatively' old SEM set-up that I'd like to overhaul and
bring into our new ImageJ framework.
We currently have a 2 PC set-up: one running a Philips XL30 SEM with
associated control software, the other running analySIS image analysis
software. These are both connected through the "ADDA II SEM
Interface" (www.soft-imaging.net/rd/english/442.htm). This allows
analySIS to control the SEM by auto-scanning/-focusing/etc.
Ideally, I'd like to have just the one shiny new PC with 2 monitors - 1
for SEM control, the other for image analysis (ImageJ). I'd either like
ImageJ to have some control of the SEM (auto-scanning/-focusing/etc) or
to work in conjunction with the SEM. That is, the SEM control software
takes images that are passed to ImageJ.
Does anyone have any experience of perhaps controlling the SEM through
the ADDA II SEM Interface within ImageJ? What about SEM control with
ImageJ? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Any help would be greatly appreciated (papers, etc).
Cheers, Andy
