we just started a climategroup of "young pupil scientists" to investigate satellite data.

http://www.bcsi-team.dewe will investigate the movement of very cold clouds.
What we need is a pixel by pixel tracking alogarithm (image by image) that allows us to see the movement of clouds.
As a result we would like to generate a vector-line that shows the direction.
The plugin MTrack2 can not be used because in the image sequence the clouds appear an dissapear at ongoing time.
Any idear how we can programm this ?
