ImageJ for microscopy

Hugo A. M. Torres-2
Dear ImageJ mail list Colleagues,

I am interested in using ImageJ to analyse some in situ hybridization
images of sliced brains and came across this set of plugins:
http://www.uhnresearch.ca/facilities/wcif/imagej/installing_imagej.htm

I downloaded the package plugins-only package for imageJ and unpacked it
at the imageJ plugins directory (following the linux installation
instructions - I use the Ubuntu distribution). Now I am getting some
errors related to the installed plugins. Please see picture:
http://imagebin.org/23251.

Can I get help on fixing these errors while retaining the plugins?

Thanks

Hi Hugo,

It looks like the problem is that you have some plugins installed multiple time.

You can install the plugin jar files in ImageJ/plugins or in any subdirectory.
The ones you have problems with are installed in ImageJ/plugins/plugins
If you already have these plugin jar files installed in say
ImageJ/plugins, they will be duplicated.

The plugin jar file that you have duplicated are:
* File_IO.jar
* LSM_Reader.jar
* Exif_reader.jar

Try to remove them from ImageJ/plugins/plugins
