Even though I go to "memory & threads" under edit-> option and have allocated 7000 MB (8 threads), it will not use more than 1024 MB. I have the 64 bit Java and Vista 64 with 12 GB system ram so I don't know what the problem is. I've contacted a guy named sergio at the university of florida and he says that imagej uses more than 1 GB of memory when he analyzes image stacks. He doesn't use it for AVI files so I'm sure if that has anything to do with it. So, anyone got any ideas?
