Greetings All,
We are looking at using ImageJ2 for some simple image process in which we will utilize a custom Lookup Table (LUT) as well as to place some labels on the images, but although I am able to customize the LUT that we need, when I select the Label Button "A" and am then able to write a text label on the image, as soon as I select another locate or select "close" on the "Fonts" settings, the label on my image disappears and I do not know why or how to make it remain on the image. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Lonnie ---------------------------- Thanks and have a great day, Lonnie Cumberland, Ph.D. Physicist (301) 975-6869 (Office) (301) 869-7682 (Fax) National Institute of Standards and Technology Radiation Physics Division (682) ADDRESS: 100 Bureau Drive, Stop 8460 Gaithersburg, MD 20899 EMAIL: [hidden email]<mailto:[hidden email]> ________________________________ CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE - This e-mail transmission, and any documents, files or previous e-mail messages attached to it may contain information that is confidential or legally privileged. Lonnie,
You need to draw the text directly to the image by ctrl-b (cmd-b for Mac) or create it as an overlay by ctrl-b (cmd-b). Check the manual for more information: https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/docs/guide/146-19.html#toc-Subsection-19.8 Regards, Glen MacDonald Digital Microscopy Center Box 357923 University of Washington Seattle, WA 98195-7923 USA (206) 616-4156 [hidden email] > On Aug 29, 2016, at 8:55 AM, Cumberland, Lonnie (Fed) <[hidden email]> wrote: > > Greetings All, > > We are looking at using ImageJ2 for some simple image process in which we will utilize a custom Lookup Table (LUT) as well as to place some labels on the images, but although I am able to customize the LUT that we need, when I select the Label Button "A" and am then able to write a text label on the image, as soon as I select another locate or select "close" on the "Fonts" settings, the label on my image disappears and I do not know why or how to make it remain on the image. > > Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. > > Cheers, > Lonnie > > ---------------------------- > Thanks and have a great day, > Lonnie Cumberland, Ph.D. > Physicist > > (301) 975-6869 (Office) > (301) 869-7682 (Fax) > > National Institute of Standards and Technology > Radiation Physics Division (682) > ADDRESS: > 100 Bureau Drive, Stop 8460 > Gaithersburg, MD 20899 > > EMAIL: [hidden email]<mailto:[hidden email]> > ________________________________ > CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE - This e-mail transmission, and any documents, files or previous e-mail messages attached to it may contain information that is confidential or legally privileged.
