Images as binary text files

Hi,

I'm attempting to convert a .tif file to a .txt file for use in another
software application. I've made the image binary, but imagej will not let
me Save as.. text file as there is no log or editor window open. (This is
from the error prompt)

What am I doing wrong?

The resultant file/matrix should be 1's and 0's but at this point I would
take 0's and 255's also.

I believe that you need "Save as... -> Text Image"  rather than Text...
