Hi Eric,

I don't think so - the xcf format is GIMP's own data structure...

Is it possible to (batch) process your images into TIFF or BMP formats
for your needs? The XCF format contains a lot of stuff that is not
relevant in the context of IJ, for example paths, text layers and
possibly undo history etc, it is much more than just an image file.

It is probably easiest to batch process using GIMP to get the files into
an easy format, such as TIFF.

Hope that helps,

Ed

Hi Ed.
I received xcs file from another person.  I will download GIMP to work
and export the files as it can't be done directly with imageJ.
Many thanks for your answer.

Eric
