Instructions for plugins?

Jody Wujcik
Hello everyone,

Can anyone tell me where I can get information on how to use the plugins contained in ImageJ?  Do instructions even exist or do I need to contact individual authors?  I am new to ImageJ and I'm not quite sure which plugins are even of use to me.  My
research involves measuring blood vessel diameters and doing vessel counts in a given reference frame.  I am trying to obtain a circular grid overlay-  Does anyone know of a plugin for this?  ( the cycloid grid arc is not what I need- I need
continuous circles)  Also, I want to use a straight line probe and have ImageJ automatically count the number of intersections that the line crosses the vessel and the diameter of the vessel at those intersections.  Is this possible or does anyone
have any other suggestions?  I know I didn't give much description here, but I would really appreciate feedback, even if general.

Thanks,
Jody

Re: Instructions for plugins?

Hi all,
I want to use the image registration plugin .But even after
installing the plugin I do not see the plugin (even after restarting
imagej). Is anyone familiar with this plugin.? The instruction manual says
that a dialogue box opens when the plugin runs. However I neither see the
plugin nor the dailogue box.
Hope to hear from someone soon.

Thank you
Nitya

Hello,

I am also new to ImageJ, but I found the ImageJ manual (containing
instructions to many plugins) from the web page of WCIF.  They have
both online and PDF version of the manual, and the online manual is
more up-to-date.  You can find them here:

Hope this will be useful.

Regards!
