Is it possible to save overlays in .tiff imagestacks?

Hello community,

overlays in imagestack are not saved. After saving the imagestack via save as->image sequence->tiff (selected) I expected the overlays to be included into the save file.
But the overlays are missing.

The overlays were made via the "add to overlay" option in Analyze->Measure.

How can i save the overlays? Is this feature limited to a special type of .tiff?

it works here under Mac OSX with plain ImageJ (daily build 1.49o7).

Hello Herbie,

I found out if the imagestack is saved as .tiff:
FILE -> SAVE AS -> .tiff the overlays are saved
if FILE -> SAVE AS -> Image Sequence -> .tiff overlays are missing.
(using 1.49m)

So i guess i have always to save the images in one .tiff.

The latest ImageJ daily build (1.49o13) fixes a bug that caused the File>Save As>Image Sequence command to not save overlays when saving in TIFF format.
