Is there a possibility to copy pics into cache?

Florian Sedlmeir
Hi,

my question is, wether there is a possibility to copy an opened imageJ
picture into the cache (like ctrl-c in other windows programs). It would
be important for me, because i always create an overlay over the original
image with the ROIs created during particle analysis to compare the new
picture with the original. This works best in Power Point, as it is easy
there to swith between the two pictures very fast. The problem is that it
is necessary to first create a new picture of the original one (plus
overlay), save this in a new file and import both (original and overlayed)
into PP. Thats annoying if you have to do it often...
Or is there another good method to compare segmented and original data?

Thank you and best regards
Florian

Hi Florian,

"Cache"? You seem to be talking of the Windows clipboard! Simply use
"Edit/Copy to System"!

However, if you want to include any ImageJ overlay, you will need to do
"Plugins/Utilities/Capture Image" first IIRC!

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards

Yes, you can, that is clearly explained in the documentation, that is
advisable for everybody to read.
