JP2 file

Nilwik Rachel (BW)
Hello all,

Does anyone happen to know what plugin is needed for opening multi-channel JP2 images? One of my colleagues can simply open JP2 images using drag-and-drop. However, on my pc, ImageJ shows the message that no reader has been installed and the file type is not recognized. Since my colleague has installed multiple plugins for different uses in the past, he doesn't know which one is the one I would need. Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,
Rachel Nilwik

You can open JP2 files with Bio-Formats (
http://loci.wisc.edu/bio-formats/imagej).

If you download and install the Fiji distribution of ImageJ (http://fiji.sc/),
it comes with many useful plugins preinstalled including Bio-Formats, and
has an automatic updater feature as well.

Regards,
Curtis
