Linux installation with existing JDK and JRE

Jack Kramer
The linux installs all include another JRE.  Is this specific version of
the JRE required for  ImageJ?  Will it work with the later versions
already installed on the system?

ImageJ works with any version of Java as long as it is Java 5 or later. For the Plugins>Compile and Run command to work, you need to have installed a JDK.
