Load Virtual Stacks in Fiji

Matthias Kaiser
Hi everybody,

Since the last update I have a problem with Fiji. When I try to load a
Virtual Stack it first takes very long and then fills up my memory. The
same Virtual Stack loads without any problem in ImageJ without filling
the memory. I reinstalled Fiji already without seeing any change. Does
someone have an idea what my problem is?

Best,
Matthias

Please check that "Enable ImageJ2 data structures" is unchecked in the Edit
> Options > ImageJ2 dialog. And if not, uncheck it.

If you still have the problem afterwards, you can try opening your virtual
stack, then press Shift+\ (this is the Plugins > Debug > Dump Stack
command) while your image is taking a long time to load. This should
produce a "Stack Dump" window with details of exactly what in the code is
taking so long, which you can copy/paste for further inspection here.

Regards,
Curtis
