MVFG - Multi-format Video Frame Grabber ImageJ Plugin

Lambert, Michelle
Hello ImageJ community -

I am a very new user of ImageJ and I'm hoping you all can help me.  My PI wants to analyze some videos of fluorescence in ImageJ, but they are MP4 files.  I've tried several different recommendations found through the ImageJ forums that I found on the web but have been largely unsuccessful at converting videos that will open.  I tried to download this promising plugin (MVFG) but their website isn't allowing me to do it; ive tried using HandBrake, and it didn't work.  I tried using home-brew, and it didn't work.  I'm not a computer wiz, but I did find a few tutorials for each thing I tried. I'm using a Mac V 10.15.6.  Any advice would be great!

Thank you!

Michelle

The MPEG Streamclip program for the Mac plays MP4 videos and converts them into formats that ImageJ can open, such as AVI or image sequences.
