Hi,
I heavily use NeuronJ 1.1.0 for quantification of neurite length and
labeling on fluorescent images of cultured hippocampal neurons. In my
understanding, NeuronJ is a plugin that completely replaces the ImageJ
toolbar and is meant to be used as a closed-circuit plugin (only NeuronJ
commands should be used ; using ImageJ commands from the menus on
NeuronJ-loaded images often leads to problems).
I would like to know if it's possible to automate some of NeuronJ's
commands with a macro, as I don't know Java. If I lauch NeuronJ I get a
this in the macro recorder :
run("NeuronJ");
but after that using any of NeurinJ's buttons do not translates into
macro instructions in the recorder.
Why ? Is there a way to access NeuronJ and its fonctions from a macro ?
and from a plugin ? I know there's an API to NeuronJ but the commands
are only mathematical treatments or image manipulations, not commands
like "load image in NeuronJ" or that kind of stuff...
Thanks a lot for your help
Christophe
