Hi to all,
Magic Montage doesn't work as before. After adding new panels, the panel editor doesn't update the size of the panels. Can anyone fix it? Many thanks Monique Vasseur -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
Hi Monique,
I posted here: https://gist.github.com/mutterer/7f74e2ccf56d3c0c7b90b75818eaf377 an updated version in which the panel size is correct again. Many thanks This regression is fixed in the latest ImageJ daily build (1.52i29). There is also an updated version of Magic Wand (http://wsr.imagej.net/notes.html) that works around the regression and adds a “?” button and overlay support. -wayne -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
Hi Jerome,
There is another weird action happens on updated version. For example, one image is composed of 4 slices and the magic montage always creates a 2x2 montage. How can I rearrange the layout to a 4x1 montage? The "Set Montage Layout[F12] cannot seem to work when I re-set the layout to a 4x1 form. Thanks a lot. ching -- Sent from: http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/ -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
Hi Ching,
I can suggest two options: - Extend your 2x2 montage using the second tool (shuffler tool) by dragging over the image right hand side edge, and reorder the panels with the same tool. - If you want a given layout, use the Make Montage command and specify the layout. Magic Montage also works with those montages. Thank you Jerome for the suggestion.
After trying the two methods you mentioned, the second one seems to be more practical. As for the first method, I have no idea how to exclude the empty panels after moving the original slices to the extended panels. In the latest ImageJ daily build (1.52i35), use the Image>Stacks>Tools>Magic Montage Tools command and there will be a new “Change Montage Layout” command that makes it easy to change the layout of a montage. This command can also be used to crop a montage. For example, to crop a 3x3 montage to 3x1. Use the Image>Stacks>Tools>Magic Montage Tools command with the shift key down to view the macro source code. -wayne > <http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/file/t378371/1.jpg> > > -- > Sent from: http://imagej.1557.x6.nabble.com/ -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
