Hi there,
I am measuring the amount of insect feeding damage on maple leaves using ImageJ (v. 1.47j), and have been estimating (by hand using the free hand drawing tool) the original area of the leaf (i.e. before insect feeding). However, maple leaves are shaped quite irregularly, and this method has been quite difficult. I was hoping to be able to overlay an image of an intact leaf, and arrange it (move it around, shrink it, stretch it) overtop the eaten leaf, and then measure its area using the wand tool. Is this possible? I have tried several overlays, but it seems I am unable to move/manipulate the image once it is overlaid. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dorothy
