Measuring selected pixels in color photos

Hi I am trying to measure how many pixels are in a selected area and then trying to create a ratio of the amount of one color to another within that selected area. It seems like it should be relatively easy but I am really struggling to understand how to do it. Can anyone help??

Hi Elissa!

To measure the area of a selection, select Analyse -> set measurement; Assure that the first flag "AREA" is marked.

Now select your region of interest,  Analyse -> measure. The first field is "AREA". So you have the number of pixel contained in the selected area.
