Micro-Manager American Society For Cell Biology EXIBIT

Ziah Dean
Hi Everyone,

If you're planning to attend the upcoming American Society For Cell Biology
meeting in Denver, please come and see the Micro-Manager demonstration in
booth #649 in the Exhibition Hall! We're going to be demonstrating
Micro-Manager's new features including the hardware triggering
functionality using an ASI RAMM (Rapid Automated
Modular Microscope).

Micro-Manager (http://micro-manager.org) is an open source software
package for microscope image acquisition. It controls a large number
of microscopes (from ASI, Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss), scientific
grade cameras, and peripherals and lets you take snapshots,
time-lapses, z-stacks, and multi-channel images. It runs as an ImageJ
plugin and works under Windows, Mac and Linux. Micro-Manager is being
developed at Ron Vale's lab at UCSF supported by a grant from the NIH.

Of course, our main goal is to meet you, hear about your experiences
with Micro-Manager, your wishes for future development and everything
else you would like to tell us. We also hope to give you personal
hands-on training in the use of Micro-Manager.

Best Regards,
Micro-Manager Team
