If you happen to go to the ASCB meeting starting this Saturday in San
Diego, please stop by at booth #1214 and have a look at the Micro-
Manager project.
Micro-Manager is an open source, free image acquisition software
package that has a user interface running as an ImageJ plugin. The
software is cross-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux) and supports
Hamamatsu, PVCAM (Roper, Princeton), and Andor cameras, Nikon and
Zeiss microscopes, and shutters/stages/filter wheels from Vincent,
Ludl, ASI, Prior and Sutter. The software is currently in beta
stage, version 1.0 will be released (together with its source code)
in January 2007.
We are looking forward to your feedback, either at the ASCB meeting
