I am installing ImageJ on machine running vistaX64. I installed 64bit
Java, and then IJ. ImageJ recognizes that it is running 64bit. When I went to up the memory, it was unable to do so because it could not find the ImageJ.cfg file. And indeed it is missing. Closing and relaunching ImageJ.exe failed to generate one also. Any advice on this? Thanks, Mark Mark A. Smith Ph. D. Hi Mark,
I too run imageJ on Vista64 - I believe the issue involves permissions. I had to have imageJ "run as administrator" for things to work smoothly. Then I went to the imageJ folder and made sure that the general user had full write permissions in that directory. John Mark Smith wrote: > I am installing ImageJ on machine running vistaX64.
