As far as I can tell, the MultipleKymograph plugin generates kymographs
using some variation of an averaging technique. It doesn't seem to be simple averages across a line, it must be doing something more complicated. But instead, I want to just take the maximum value across the line-width instead. So if a line has a width of 3, instead of taking the ~average of the three, I want the value of the maximum pixel within those three. Am I missing something in the plugin? Is there a way to do this? Is there a different plugin? I've looked and can't find anything. But the plugin I have does not have any options to choose how to generate the kymograph outside of selecting a line-width. What am I missing with this plugin? It seems there is a lot that doesn't add up correctly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! -Dan -- ImageJ mailing list: http://imagej.nih.gov/ij/list.html |
Dear Dan,
please find below the link to the updated version of the Kymograph plugin. This will also allow you to calculate the AVERAGE, MIN and MAX of an extended line. http://biop.epfl.ch/IP_KYMOGRAPH.html Do not hesitate to contact me in case of further questions. Arne,
I wanted to thank you for the useful plugin. Its been working great for the past couple months. Also, today I went to install it on a new computer, and the link provided returns a 404 error. I have a copy of the plugin still on a older computer, but thought I would call your attention to the broken link in case future users may find the plugin useful.
