Hi list!
So, I am completely new in image processing techniques. What I need is to calcultare length on neurons, dendric branches and... . I am not a computational person, so I just need a software which can help me study the networks of my neurons a bit more, but I do not need to model or anything.
Reading the online manuscripts, I learned that Fiji and simple neurite tracer are helpful. I have figured out how to work with plug in but I still can not understand how to analyze the pathways that I make! On the other hand, my images are in 2D and not 3D so the paths fiji suggests are not exactly correct most of the times.
Is there any neuron-analysis-for-dummies out there? Something that can explain how to measure simple charactreistics of a neuron. Is Fiji a good software for me to use with 2D images?
