Neuron segmental length

I am unable to retrieve the no of pixels in a given set of ROIs (set of concentric circles around the soma) in a skeletonized trace of a neuron. These are the steps I followed:
1. Open Image, set to autothreshold, make binary and skeletonize
2. Select a point as centre on the soma.
3. Next, I tried setting the ROIs in the form of concentric circles (say with radius 50microns, 100microns, 150microns and so on) around the centre using the option: Edit->Selection->Specify.

I'm stuck after this, wherein I need to retrieve the no. of pixel within each concentric circle.

Can someone please offer a solution..???

Just noticed your message. While not answering directly, it looks as if you
are attempting bitmap Sholl. This has been implemented here:
