Hi All,
I am trying to use the interactive version of NeurphologyJ (a plugin for ImageJ found at this site: https://hwangeric5.wixsite.com/erichwanglab/neurphologyj ). By following the manual on the site, I am unable to get the software to compute the attachment points and endpoints properly. I got a value of 1 for both (see summary table below)using an 8-bit image. [cid:de278963-be9a-4f0b-9d65-780d93a5a43b] I also saw no green dots in my final composite image and got the macro error below: [cid:5ca57e02-d302-478f-b142-a288cc40a415] I also got this debug log: [cid:490fa54a-dc55-46b4-9515-98ee8caf71fe] I tried using versions 1.5 and 1.53(most current) of ImageJ. I could not find version 1.43 of ImageJ to use (as recommended in the manual). I got the same error using a 16-bit image. Does anyone know how to fix this? Kind regards, Hien Hien, Judging from your image, NeurphologyJ should be able to quantify axons from the axonal chamber. One thing I'd suggest is to use uncompressed, grayscale .TIF files instead of color .JPEG files. Good luck with your research.
