New Bio-Formats 5 update site

ctrueden
Hi all,

I am pleased to announce that there is now an ImageJ update site for the
latest 5.x development version of Bio-Formats. Previously, we provided an
update site for the latest 4.x development branch, but increasingly there
are now features and bug-fixes found only in the 5.x version.

For those wishing to switch to Bio-Formats 5, I have updated the
Bio-Formats wiki page with instructions:

http://fiji.sc/Bio-Formats#Daily_builds

In summary:
* USE FIJI AS-IS: If you want to use Bio-Formats 4.4.9 (latest stable
release).
* USE BIO-FORMATS 4: If you want to use the latest Bio-Formats 4.x
development version containing bug-fixes.
* USE BIO-FORMATS 5: If you want to use the latest Bio-Formats 5.x
development version containing bug-fixes and new features.

Regards,
Curtis

Thanks, as always, for your hard work!

This is a good summary, in particular for Fiji users who remember when the
Bio-Formats version bundled with Fiji used to be at the bleeding edge.

I should have clarified that a long time ago: Bio-Formats as shipped with
Fiji (or via its update site) is the stable version of Bio-Formats.

It is really awesome that users can track the latest development version
again; that way, bug fixes are sure to find the reporters much sooner!

Awesome,
Dscho
