New plugin: PIV analyser

Jean-Yves Tinevez-4
Hi all,

I posted a first version of a plugin that does the PIV analysis of a
sequence of images.
It can be seen as an optic flow technique, but is block-based. It is
very slow, and must be seen as a toy technique, compared to more
advanced techniques, such as differential techniques (see the
excellent FlowJ plugin from Michael Abramoff). The main thing it can
offer is accuracy.

See http://pacific.mpi-cbg.de/wiki/index.php/PIV_analyser on the Fiji
wiki for instructions on how to install / use.

cheers

New plugin: Auto Local Threshold

Gabriel Landini
I added another plugin to the Auto_Threshold jar I mentioned a few days ago.
This time I included 6 different local thresholding methods as opposed to the
global methods described earlier.

http://www.dentistry.bham.ac.uk/landinig/software/auto_threshold.jar

Copy the jar file into the ImageJ/Plugins folder and either restart ImageJ or
run the Help>Update Menus command. After this, 2 commands should appear:
Image>Adjust>Auto Threshold and Image>Adjust>Auto Local Threshold.

See:
http://pacific.mpi-cbg.de/wiki/index.php/Auto_Threshold
http://pacific.mpi-cbg.de/wiki/index.php/Auto_Local_Threshold

Cheers,

Gabriel
