Numeric field in panel

Hi,

I have a basic question, I'm making a plug-in based on the IP demo
plug-in. What I want to do is having buttons and numeric fields that the
user can fill up and when you click the button in runs a subroutine using
the parameters in the fields.  I did that before in other languages (VB).
So far I used the TextField command to do so and add the textfield in a
panel (based on the code of the macro Recorder).  However using a text
field means I need to convert the string to a int to be able to use the
parameters.
So I was wondering if for the panels  there is a numeric only version of
the TextField ( like for GenericDialogs).

PS: I don't want to use the GenericDialogs because I want those parameter
to be on accesible directely from the panel.
