Open bug when drag/dropping files on IJ toolbar

lechristophe
When I want to open several files (let's say file1.tig, file2.tif,
file3.tif, file4.tif) by selecting them and drag/dropping them on the IJ
toolar, I now get the following error:

File not found:
/Users/christo/Travail/Data/file1.tif/Users/christo/Travail/Data/file2.tif

and the first two files are not opened.
It seems that the first two path are wrongly concatenated.

I'm using Fiji with ImageJ 2.0.0-rc-54/1.51g, Java 1.8.0_102 on OSX 10.11.6.

Christophe

PS/ I'm posting these bugs (also yesterday's email about the "Fit Spline"
option constantly on) here because I figure it is primarily IJ1 bugs, and
Wayne is using the mailing list. Would it be better to use the forum or
Fiji's bug report?

Hi Christophe,

> It seems that the first two path are wrongly concatenated.

I cannot reproduce on my system:
2.0.0-rc-54/1.51g; Java 1.8.0_101 on macOS 10.12.

Does the problem happen on your system with plain ImageJ 1.x?

I think either the mailing list or the forum is fine.

Note that the "Report a Bug" plugin is currently disabled, though, since
the Fiji BugZilla is kaput. We are switching to GitHub Issues, so you could
certain file an issue on GitHub if you prefer to do things that way.

Curtis

Thanks for the feedback. Curtis and Wayne, how do you get to run Fiji with
the latest Java 8? What I did was to copy the JRE from a java installer
into Fiji.app/java/macosx but I'm not sure that's the way it's supposed to
be done.

Sorry, I meant a JDK not a JRE

Hi Christophe,

> how do you get to run Fiji with the latest Java 8?

Rename or delete the Fiji.app/java folder, and the ImageJ Launcher will
look for installed Javas on your system.

Curtis
