Hello,
I've been trying to measure band intensity (brightness) in ethidium
bromide-stained gels for semi-quantitative PCR. I would like to ask:
1) How can I get ImageJ to recognise the PCR bands on my gel and measure
their intensity?
2) How can I specify background noise in the gel and subtract it from the
intensity values above?
3) Can I normalise these intensities to those of reference bands
(standards)?
