PNG-Problem with ImageJ and BIO-FORMATS

Hello there,

I run into problem with *.png again. This time the files are RGB 8bit
and ImageJ's build in as well as the BIO-Formats reader do not open it.

Other Software does open the images. Maybe newer versions of Java (JRE)
won't produce this error anymore.

The error is still some sort of arbitrary. Sometimes it does work :)
I used Java 1.6.0_20

Dear Rainer,

I have tested using your images with the current stable bioformats
loci_tool.jar plugin with ImageJ.  I've used:

1.6.0_51 (OS X 10.6 x64)
1.6.0_27 (OpenJDK, Debian x64)
1.7.0_25 (OpenJDK, Debian x64)

Both ImageJ and the LOCI Bio-Formats Importer were able to load and
display the images in all cases.

I would suggest trying to upgrade your JVM to a more recent version and
re-trying
(http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html).
You might want to also make sure that you're also using a current
version of the LOCI plugin at the same time; you can get that here:
http://www.openmicroscopy.org/site/products/bio-formats/downloads

If using a current Java and LOCI plugin doesn't resolve the problem,
please do get back in touch.
