PSD from SEM image of aggregated microparticles

Hi,

I am trying to analyze the particles in this image and having trouble getting a clear picture after threshold adjustment. Also, what measurement in the results table generated can be used to best describe the size of the particles to get reliable particle size distribution data?

Can some someone please help me work on this image?
