Hi Juan,
output "none" is obsolete; it would mean that the filter does
nothing at all.
As far as I remember, output "none" was needed in the old version
to get a point selection without doing anything else; in those
days "point selection" was not an output type but a checkbox.
"point selection" became an output type as soon as preview was
added: With "preview point selection" one can check the maxima
created for a given threshold as a point selection and
nevertheless have any output type one likes.
