Dear List,
I would like to create a scrollable gallery of ROI (for the sake of argument let's assume they are all 100x100 pixels). The idea is that a user can identify regions of an image to analyse later, but it would be good to be able to track these regions in real time, in a gallery format.
I know I can paste the ROI into a new image at a set location, eg 0,0 and create a gallery this way, but there could be many ROI to include into the gallery. What would be ideal would be to have every ROI put into its own panel, and the panel is loaded into a scrollpane in a java frame.
I can mock this up using swing an 8 bit image, but is possible to do it through ImageJ using 16 bit images? Am I able to create a canvas to hold an image, without creating a separate image window, that I can then load into the frame of my choice? Is anyone aware of a PlugIn that does something similar?
My apologies if the above it not clear; I would be happy to clarify any part. I have some Java GUI experience, but not in relation to image analysis. Any help is much appreciated.
With regards,
